This Privacy Policy explains how Lee & Stires, Inc. ("Lee & Stires," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit lee-stires.com (the "Site"). We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you use the contact form or submit a job application, we collect the information you enter, which may include:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • The subject/department of your inquiry and your message (contact form)
  • Your resume or application materials in PDF form, and any additional message (careers form)

Information collected automatically. We use Umami, a privacy-focused website analytics service, to understand general Site traffic and usage patterns (e.g., which pages are viewed). Umami does not use cookies and does not track you individually across other websites.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party ad networks, and the Site has no user accounts, logins, or online payment system.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit only to:

  • Respond to your inquiry submitted through the contact form
  • Review and respond to job applications submitted through the careers page
  • Understand overall Site usage in aggregate, through analytics

We do not use your information for marketing emails or sell it to data brokers or advertisers.

How Your Information Is Handled

  • Contact form and career form submissions are sent by email to the relevant Lee & Stires team through our email delivery provider (Resend) and are not stored in a public database.
  • Resumes and application files you upload are stored securely with our cloud storage provider (Cloudflare R2) so our hiring team can access them.
  • We retain submitted information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or consider your application, after which it is deleted or retained only as required for legitimate business or legal purposes.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share information with service providers who help us operate the Site and process submissions on our behalf (such as our email delivery and cloud storage providers named above), or when required by law.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), may give you certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used
  • Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — Lee & Stires does not sell or share personal information, so no opt-out is necessary
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The careers form is intended for job applicants who meet applicable minimum age requirements for employment.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including secure, encrypted connections and reputable third-party service providers, to help protect the information you submit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites, such as the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
